As you know Children Learning English: From research to practice was my first edited book, with fellow colleagues, Christina Nicole Giannikas, Lou McLaughlin and Nellie Deutsch Muller. The initial idea came from Christina and it was a labour of love between the four of us and our fellow contributors. I was also thrilled to write my own Chapter for the book, entitled Teaching Teenagers One-to-One.
Melanie has written our very first review for IATEFL's YLT Special Interest Group magazine C&Ts. I am delighted that the review is to be published in this particular edition as the YLT SIG are to celebrate their pearl anniversary, and therefore the magazine will be a special edition. I will post a quote from the article, but you will have to wait for the full book review when the magazine is released. It reads:
I cannot recommend this volume highly enough. In short review I have not been able to do justice to what is covered in this thought-provoking collection. There is something here for everyone, whether you are a teacher just starting out on your career in the field, or someone who has been working in TEYLs for many years. Get Reading!
